Hand-Forged “Yakut” Blade – D2 Steel (62 HRC)

This handcrafted “Yakut”-style blade by Brothers Berezhnye is based on a traditional Siberian knife design known for its asymmetrical grind and deep fuller on one side. The Yakut geometry is favored for woodworking, bushcraft, and outdoor use due to its unique cutting performance and heritage functionality.

Forged from high-carbon, high-chromium D2 tool steel and hardened to 62 HRC, this blade offers excellent edge retention, wear resistance, and corrosion protection.

The forged texture is intentionally preserved on part of the blade, contrasting beautifully with the polished edge to highlight the handcrafted character of each piece.

Perfect for knife makers and collectors looking to build a unique knife with strong roots in tradition and top-tier modern steel.
