This San Mai blade is hand-forged using a high-carbon 9ХФ tool steel core, offering exceptional edge retention and hardness. The layered construction combines precision cutting performance with strength and durability, making it an excellent choice for custom knife makers.

The cladding — a combination of ШХ15, 40Х13, nickel, 79НМ, and 08Х18Н10Т — provides structural resilience, corrosion resistance, and a striking multi-layered pattern. The blade has been etched and enhanced with temperature oxidation, creating vivid bronze, gold, purple, and blue hues that highlight the intricate Damascus-like structure and give each blade a unique appearance.

Every blade is individually forged, finished, and oxidized, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike.
