Hand-Forged Carbon Damascus Steel Bar — For Knife Making

This high-quality hand-forged carbon Damascus steel bar is crafted using a multi-layer forge-welding process. The billet is composed of the following steels: U8A, ShKh-15, 5KhNMA, and 45 steel. This combination delivers excellent hardness, wear resistance, and structural strength, while also creating the striking layered pattern that defines true Damascus steel.

Recommended heat treatment:

Once the oven reaches 860 °C, hold the billet for 1 minute per millimeter of thickness, then quench in oil. After full cooling, perform tempering: heat to 200 °C and hold for 1 hour.

Final hardness after heat treatment: 58–62 HRC.
